Beautiful Bavarian porcelain platter by Schumann Dresden. Pierced rim and transferware scene of a Victorian couple, framed in a medallion at the center of the platter. This is a rarer design, as the majority of Schumann designs featured florals. The rim is delicately decorated with flowers and gold gilt.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition. The bottom has some faint age-related creasing in the glaze - please look at the pictures that show the bottom of the bowl.
